The good news inspired and encouraged more people to participate. The disciples welcomed them with great support and sensitivity. They trained them and explained God's ways more accurately.

The responsorial psalm continues to praise God, saying, “God is king of all the earth.” Jesus emphasized to the disciples that whatever they ask the Father through him, the Father will grant it. For those who love and believe in Jesus, the Father also loves them. Jesus also told them that he  came from the Father, has  come into the world, and now that he is leaving  the world, he will go back to His  Father.”

Jesus left us the most precious gift: the salvation of mankind through his death and resurrection. He redeemed us from our sinfulness and gave  us a new life. He is a compassionate God, for he says that whatever you wish for, the Father will grant it.

Sometimes, God grants our wishes at once, but sometimes we need to wait a while before God provides what we ask for in his perfect timing. But along the way, we encounter trials that challenge our personhood. During this process, we need to be sensitive to the movement of the  Holy Spirit. We need to understand that everything happens for a reason.

Call to Action for Catholic Living: God has always favored those who truly believe and love him. God grants our wishes in the way that is best for us, in his perfect timing.

Lord Jesus, thank you for the opportunity that we can ask for anything. We are hopeful that you will grant our wishes. Amen

Radio Veritas Asia (RVA), a media platform of the Catholic Church, aims to share Christ. RVA started in 1969 as a continental Catholic radio station to serve Asian countries in their respective local language, thus earning the tag “the Voice of Asian Christianity.”  Responding to the emerging context, RVA embraced media platforms to connect with the global Asian audience via its 21 language websites and various social media platforms.
